I have been back on Canva again and have designed this ‘Work In Progress’ card. If you are anything like me, you will have more than one project on the go at a time! My sister bought something like these cards for me one Christmas and they are so handy to have.
I always keep my projects in small organza bags and add one of these cards in it to remind me of the hook size it needs, where I got the pattern from, the yarn I’m using, what row I’m on and any notes about the pattern.
When I make booties and items for my Etsy and Folksy shops, I always make them all in one go, so I don’t need a work in progress card for those. But when I make things for myself, or start blankets and then get distracted by other projects, it’s handy to add a card in the bag with all in information on.
I recently sorted all my yarn out and found a beautiful shawl I had started about three years ago! Luckily the pattern was in the bag, so I could see what was needed for it. I finished it off and it’s gorgeous, I wish I had remembered it earlier, haha! I will do a blog post showing this, so you can see just how gorgeous it is .
I have made this card into a a PDF so that you can download it and print off as many as you want. The size of these cards are a handy 14.8cm x 10.5cm, so you should be able to get two out of an A4 size sheet. I have printed these on thin card from my printer and that worked really well.
I hope you find these useful and a good addition to your crochet kit. You could also print some off and give them as a gift to any of your crochet or knitter friends, I’m sure they would be glad of them.
