Free Pattern Friday – Crochet Summer Tops

Crochet Patterns/ Free Pattern Friday
Crochet Summer Tops

Well its the first Friday of the month so that must mean it’s ‘free pattern Friday’ time!  The theme for this month is crochet summer tops.  I thought with the lockdown restrictions being eased a little, you might be planning on going away somewhere.  So here are some tops you could make for what is left of the summer!

First up this month is this beautiful Ribbed Top designed by Grace from the blog ‘For The Frills’.  I love this top, it’s a nice simple style and can be worn with casual clothes or can be dressed up.  I think I would make this top in many colours and have one for  every outfit!  Link for pattern – Ribbed Tank Top

This pretty top would make a great beach cover up.  I love the open pattern of it and it could even be made longer if you wanted it and of course in any colour you want.  I found this pattern on another great blog called ‘Be A Crafter’  Link for Pattern – Lacy Oversized Top

I absolutely love this top, I think it is very smart and would look good enough for a night out.  The solid textured body is different to other crochet tops as it’s not see through and the mesh top just sets it off.  The pattern for this is on a blog called ‘Hooked On Patterns’  Link for Pattern – Aviva Summer Top

The last one for this month is another smart tank top I found on a blog called ‘Pattern Paradise’.  This has pretty panels on it in different stitches.  There is also a video tutorial for this, for those of you who are a visual learner.  I find videos are very helpful when you just can’t get your head around how to do something.  Link for pattern – Garden Tank Top

I do have one more summer top to show you.

This is one I made a few years ago from a pattern in a magazine called ‘Inside Crochet’.  I really enjoyed making this and I love wearing it.  As it’s not a free pattern, I didn’t include it in the collection.  Back issues of the magazine are still available if you wanted to make one.  Here is the link to the issue it was in  – Green Agate Top

Well that’s it for now, hope you have enjoyed looking at the crochet summer tops patterns and you get chance to make one.  Hope you are all managing to get out a bit more and still staying safe?
