It’s free pattern Friday time again and this week’s theme is crochet headbands. I thought that with all the hairdressers being closed due to the lockdown, we might all be needing headbands to help our hair!
I was lucky enough to have my hair cut a few days before the lockdown, so hopefully I will be ok for a few weeks yet. But having looked at some of these lovely headbands, I might make one now and start wearing it!
First up are these absolutely gorgeous ear warmers made by K.A.M.E Crochet. I love the pattern on these and also the button addition. I always ask the designers if I can can include their items on my blog and the lady from K.A.M.E Crochet not only kindly said that I could, but she also sent my a photo of another crochet headband that she has designed. So you have two for one here! Link for pattern – Amarie Ear warmer
This one is called Bumps Upon Bumps and is equally as lovely. On this blog there are many more great patterns to choose from. Link to pattern – Bumps Upon Bumps Earwarmer
Lacy Lattice Headband
I love the lacy look of this headband and the jewel embellishment in the middle. The pattern is designed by a lady called Olivia who has a beautiful blog called ‘Hopeful Honey’. There are also many more gorgeous patterns on this blog. Pattern link – Lacy Lattice Headband
Aspen Socialite Headbband
This headband pattern has instructions for it to be made from Newborn size to adult size. There is a really cute photo on the blog of a baby wearing it and it looks brilliant! The pattern looks easy to do and I think it will be suitable for a beginner to make. I found this pattern on a blog called ‘Make And Do Crew’. Link for pattern – Aspen Socialite Headband
Scalloped Lace Toddler Headband
Last one for this week are these very pretty toddler headbands. I had to include some children’s headbands as they look cute on little girls. I have made some headbands like these before and they are very easy to make. I found this pattern on another great blog called ‘Cute & Cozy Crochet’. Hope you have enjoyed looking these crochet headbands patterns and have a go at making some? I heard on the news today that hairdressers in the UK might be shut for about another six months, so we will probably be needing headbands to keep our hair out of our eyes!
Hope everyone is ok and managing with the lockdown? I will be back soon showing you my latest make.
