Free Pattern Friday – Crochet Bags

Crochet Patterns/ Free Pattern Friday
Crochet Bag Patterns

The patterns I have found for you this week are for crochet bags.  I love bags and have many, many different ones at home but I don’t actually have a crocheted one!  Maybe it’s time for me to make one.

First one this week is:

Jolly Chunky Bag

This lovely, bright colourful bag is designed by Lucy from one of my favourite blogs, ‘Attic24’. If you haven’t come across this blog, have a look, it’s amazing!  I have actually got this bag pattern myself, I bought it as a kit from Yarndale a few years ago, but I’m ashamed to say that I haven’t made it yet!  After seeing this photo, it has spurred me on to get it made.  Link to pattern – Jolly Chunky Bag

Chevron Handbag

I love the colours of this bag, it would make a great beach bag or holiday bag.  I am in the middle of making a tutorial blog post on how to do the chevron stitch, so this is ideal!  The pattern is designed by ‘My Accessory Box’, it’s a lovely blog and has many more patterns on it. V-Stitch Market Bag

Another pretty bag that could also be used as beach bag or holiday bag.  I like the V-stitches on this bag and the fact that the handle is crocheted in as you go and also has the sides built up making the bag a bit more sturdier.  I found this pattern on a blog called ‘Loops And Love Crochet’ which also shows the bag in a different colour way.  Link to pattern – V-Stitch Market Bag

Dragon Scale Clutch Bag

Last one for this week is this gorgeous and very cute dragon scale clutch bag.  As I am sure you know, I make a lot of baby booties using this stitch. I call it the crocodile stitch and have done a tutorial on how to do this stitch, which you can see here.  This little bag was designed by Kati and her blog is ‘Hooked By Kati’. Well that’s it for this week, hope you have enjoyed seeing the patterns for crochet bags and have fun making some.

I’m going to make some more hearts now for my local NHS hospital.  Until next time, stay safe everyone.
