Free Pattern Friday – Crochet Baby Cardigans

Free Pattern Friday
Collage Of Crochet Baby Cardigns

It’s ‘Free Pattern Friday’ time again and this week’s theme is crochet baby cardigans.  I am sorry I didn’t do a free pattern blog post last week, it was my father-in-laws funeral and it didn’t seem appropriate to write one.  As I said last time, my husband is ill at the moment with the Coronavirus and unfortunately we weren’t able to go to the funeral, which was really sad.

Anyway, things are getting back to normal now so here goes with this weeks patterns.

First up this week is this ‘Cozy Infant Cardigan’ which I found on a blog called Heart Hook Home.  This looks so cozy and warm and I love the shawl collar on it.  This cardigan is in size 3-6 months but on the blog there are links for other sizes right up to adult size, so you could have matching mummy and baby ones or daddy and baby ones!  Link for pattern – Cozy Infant Cardigan

I absolutely adore these two, the pocket with the teddy bear on is so cute!  I found these cardigans on a beautiful blog called ‘Crochet ‘n’ Create’.  There are so many patterns on this blog it was hard to choose just one!  Link for pattern – Crochet Baby Sweater

Another really cute pattern I found on a blog called ‘My Hobby Is Crochet’.  I love the Polar Bear appliqué.  The pattern is very well written and there are plenty of helpful photos too.  Link to pattern – Arctic Baby Cardigan

Now this is one I have half made myself.  I say half made because I started making it and got sidetracked,  put it to one side and forgot all about it!  But I am going to finish it now, honest!  It is a lovely cardigan and just like the name, it is very quick and easy to make.  It is made from the yoke down and all in one, so no sewing on the sleeves or any seams.  This pattern is on a blog called ‘Zooty Owl’, I have made a few pattern from this blog, it’s brilliant.  Link for pattern – Quick And Easy Crochet Cardigan

Well that’s it for this week, hope you have enjoyed looking at the patterns for crochet baby cardigans?  I am going to be doing “Free Pattern Friday’ on the first Friday of every month from now on.  The front page of my blog is just mainly showing these and I would like it to show a variety of different crochet related blog posts.  Hope that’s ok with everyone?

Until next time, stay safe and stay well. xx
